STN Taijiquan Festival 2018
Open Dutch Championships
Taijiquan, Qigong – duo & teams
Like every year, the STN taijiquan festival takes place in November, where everyone with an interest in Tai Chi can increase their knowledge, get inspired and/or meet their Tai Chi’ friends. This year we have as a special theme Taiji sword. We will pay attention to both the martial side of the sword as well to the sword as a means to further develop one’s Tai Chi.
As usual, there will be a lot of taijiquan competition (taiji and qigong duo and groups and push hands), many high-level workshops and as always a cosy market. There is everything to be experienced for young and old, advanced or beginner, martial art lovers, health experts or qigong practitioners. At the moment the registration is not yet open, but please come back to this page to register.
Also this year there will be a masterclass on Sunday. This year we have been able to get Andy Mack, a senior student of Adam Mizner, to the Netherlands. If you don’t go to the masterclass we think it is still very worthwhile to make sure you see him at the festival.
We hope to see you at this inspiring weekend, with on Saturday a broad offer of Taiji in all its diversity and on Saturday a high-level training.
Other workshops worth mentioning, apart from of course the various Taiji sword workshops, are for example boxing according to Tai Chi principles with Laura Stone en Wu style pushing hands with Fred van Hove.
There is a limited number of slots for Andy Mack’s masterclass, so register early (registration is still closed).
